SMS Privacy Policy

COIL Wellness LLC offers an optional SMS program for appointment scheduling, appointment
reminders and general office updates. This policy explains how we handle information for that program.
Information we collect
When you opt in or contact us by text, we collect your mobile number, the information you provide in messages, your communications preferences, and records of consent and opt-out requests. Our messaging providers also process information needed to deliver messages, such as delivery status and dates and times.
How we use information
We use this information to send the types of texts you agreed to receive, respond to administrative
questions and manage scheduling and office updates, maintain consent and opt-out records, and support and protect the messaging service.
We retain information for the purposes described here and as needed to meet applicable recordkeeping duties, resolve issues, and comply with law. Retention duties may limit our ability to delete a particular record. We restrict access to personnel and service providers who need it for an authorized purpose.
Sharing information
We do not sell or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Providers supporting message delivery and related services may process information on our behalf for those services under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information when required by law or otherwise lawfully necessary to protect rights and security. Your choices and privacy
You may stop program texts by replying STOP or contacting us using the details below. For assistance, reply HELP or call us. You can request another communication method without agreeing to texts. We will address privacy requests under the law that applies to the information, including any applicable HIPAA rights.
Standard SMS is not end-to-end encrypted, and someone with access to your phone or account maybe able to read messages. Please avoid sending detailed health information, photographs of treatment areas, insurance identifiers, or payment-card details by text. Use Jane secure messaging or contact our business telephone or fax for clinical conversations. Your consent to receive texts does not waive your privacy rights.

Program and consent
By opting in to COIL Wellness LLC's SMS program, you agree to receive appointment scheduling messages, appointment reminders and general office updates at the mobile number you provide.
Some messages may use automated technology. We send program messages within the scope of your consent. This program does not include marketing, clinical conversations or billing notifications.
SMS participation is optional. You do not have to consent to receive treatment, buy services, or communicate with COIL another way. Providing a telephone number by itself does not enroll you in all text programs. These terms do not authorize promotional texts outside your consent.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to your appointments, scheduling requests and office communications. Your mobile carrier's message and data charges may apply to texts sent or received. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan. Delivery is subject to carrier availability;carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to stop program texts. You may also tell us through another reasonable method,including by calling 564-888-9277. We may send a permitted confirmation of your opt-out. We will not resume program texts without a new valid opt-in.

Appropriate use and privacy
Use texts for scheduling and general office updates. For clinical conversations, use Jane secure messaging, call our business line or arrange fax communication. Do not use ordinary staff email or
SMS for clinical exchanges under COIL's workflow. Texts are not monitored continuously and must not be used for urgent or emergency needs. For an emergency, call 911.
